Baptism
A sacrament signifying spiritual cleansing and rebirth
For Catholics, the Sacrament of Baptism is the first step in a lifelong journey of commitment and discipleship. Whether we are baptized as infants or adults, Baptism is the Church's way of celebrating and enacting the embrace of God.
Baptisms are celebrated during the Sunday Masses on specified dates (normally once per month outside of the Liturgical Seasons of Lent and Advent).
Registrations forms are available in the Sacristy after Mass. Baptism certificates are required for all godparents and sponsors. A Roman Catholic godparent must have celebrated all Sacraments of Initiation, namely, Baptism, Eucharist and Confirmation.
